The Diocese of Bath and Wells and the Diocese of Bristol are responsible for administering the many churches and churchyards throughout Bath and Bristol. We can advise on Church of England rules and current fees and will liaise with individual vicars and church offices on our customers’ behalf, to manage the process of applying for permission to erect a memorial in a churchyard.

Haycombe Cemetery
Haycombe Cemetery is a large open cemetery on the southern edge of Bath, overlooking the beautiful Englishcombe Valley. It is administered by Bath and North-East Somerset Council and is the main open cemetery currently in use for burials. Williams-Bath has been actively working with the Cemetery for many years to provide beautiful memorials for Bath families.

The new Memorial Wall at Arnos Vale Cemetery was unveiled by the Lord Mayor in 2010 and Bristol&WestMemorials was chosen as the appointed stonemason to provide plaques for the wall. Close to Ceremonial Way, the Memorial Wall can be found in one of the most prestigious and beautiful locations within Arnos Vale Cemetery.
